Giardino dell’Orticoltura

The flower festival is a historic event that for over 170 years has hosted a floral exhibition full of unusual, local and collectible varieties with over 75 exhibitors from all over Italy. Worth seeing are the fabulous Roster tepidarium greenhouse and the dragon at the Parnaso Gardens adjacent to the Horticultural Garden. Admission is free.

If you are a flower lover, you cannot miss the magnificent Rose Garden that extends over the entire city from below Piazzale Michelangelo.

The garden hosts a series of wonderful sculptures by Folon and organizes live concerts.

The ecosystem inside this place is a true treasure for botany lovers and for those who simply admire its beauty with more than 400 varieties of roses and 1200 plants. The flowering of the roses present in the garden is expected from May to September, which are in fact the best months to visit the park.
